It will all come down to Tuesday night's tournament play imho. If Sheldon Clark wins they should go on and win the crown and Sr K Garcia should be named. If SV wins they should claim their 3rd consecutive title and without a doubt Jr L Mullins should be named. However I am not certain if a Jr is entitled. I guess we will all see but these are by far my choice and can't wait to see them Tuesday night. I would have loved to see these two meet in the finals instead. What a tough draw for both teams.

Or Sr T Rowe of SV should also be a strong contender. I had forgotten about her.

If player of the year is based on importance for their team the award should have went to taylor rowe. Not taking away from the girl from sheldon clark.

Garcia is an awesome player, not taking anything away from her or L Mullins either but Rowe has carried SV for 4 years. And Mullins should get it next year without a doubt.

Guys, the vote has already taken place and the winners notified. Kelsey Garcia of Sheldon Clark is the 15th region player of year. POY has to be senior. so it probably was between Garcia, Rowe of Shelby Valley and Sammons of Paintsville. There are a lot of talented players in the 15th, but a lot of them are underclassmen and do not qualify for this award. Done deal, so all the speculation about who wins is over.

Didn't know that had already been decided but did feel it should rightfully go to a sr. Where was this announced? I still think it should have went to T Rowe. Imo there's no contest. Not taking anything away from Garcia, she's a good player. Rowe is just a great player.
