Could have a top team out before it even starts. When does the 54th District draw?
02-02-2015, 12:17 AM
After the top 3 it drops off sharp and doesn't matter.
02-02-2015, 03:44 AM
Good point.. After the first three, everyone left just uses their own kids .. Hence they really have no chance

Top 3 is not arguable.Perry and Buckhorn will be interesting if they draw each other first in the district.Perry and Knott in the regional finals but upsets do happen time to time.

Buckhorn only beat Hazard by 8pts in the All A, not that big of a drop off.

Buckhorn 11-2 in the region, Hazard 8-6 in the region, like they said, big drop off. Leslie only lost to Buckhorn the other night by 1, but they are not up there either. 1 game doesn't mean anything, if you look at the season as a whole, there is a big difference between the top 3. but that is why they play a tournament at the end, you never know what can happen in that 1 game! irateSho

Sorry, beating Jackson City twice, Leslie Co twice, Lee Co, Owsley Co., Jenkins does not prove that there is that big of a drop off! I'll take Hazard only losing by 8 to Buckhorn as proof of not a big drop off!

Well... I guess you are correct.. But I also would ask "what's the point "?

The point is there are 3 good teams in the 54th district that can beat each other on a given night! You were completely writing one of those teams off!

And after the loss to Letcher Central last night, just shows they are further down the list than I thought! nicker:

Jackson City lost a 2 point game to Estill and then romped big in the second game. Jackson City shouldn't be 4, but I'm not sure Estill should be either.
