I skipped breakfast today but yesterday I had biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, and home fries. It was very good, but DC breakfasts don't compare to what you get in Kentucky and in the deep South.

Grande biscuits with homemade sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties. Homemade biscuits would have been great, but I wanted to eat breakfast before lunchtime.

One bagel with lox (smoked salmon), capers, cream cheese, and slices of tomato and onion. Dessert was a second bagel with honey pecan cream cheese and a tall ice cold glass of milk.
