Could make 100 excuses, but lack of execution from the Bobcats on both sides of the ball. Took steps forward last week, but a couple steps back this week. Go Bobcats, keep improving!

One word describes the current state of Breathitt County football, "embarrassing".

As expected... Perry is a different team with Pray at QB and Tobler in the backfield.
I was told that Tobler has a fumbling problem and he did cough one up tonight.
Good to get in the win column tonight!!!

Tobler is a good athlete but lacks stamina at this time. He is usually in for 1-2 runs then out. I realize he plays defense also, but his stamina is not where it will be at seasons end. Heard this was only his 2nd game ever playing football, so not being in "football-shape" is understandable.

I think he's played all year... but sadly I've spent so much time around the mountains that his is only my second time watching the Commodores.
But Corey Smith seems like he is a very serviceable running back anyway. Gets downhill really fast and always keeps those legs moving.
Hopefully the Commodores are turning a corner... Only time will tell

I just can't believe how Perry just flat out whipped Breathitt all over the field. Perry started out on fire on the first drive but Breathitt came away with an interception then the offense just flat out played sorry. No excuses here Perry dominated right out the gate. As BrahmaBull said Breathitt took a lot of steps back this week. The defense looked way better last week against Lawrence. Breathitt couldn't handle Pray and Tobler at allllll. Breathitt has a lot of improving to do but they'll progress. The offense just isn't there for the Bobcats.

Congratulations to Coach Jordan Amis, his 1st win as a head coach!

Never thought the Breathitt program would fall this far. PCC winning is not a huge shock, but the margin is.

Perry did run the same run play for Pray about 6 times all for HUGE plays and Breathitt never made adjustments. Great job letting Tobler run the ball too, it opens up the pass when he is in the backfield. Congrats coach Amis on that first win.

Breathitt did ok against runs up the middle, ok being less than 6 yards a carry. When the play was run to the outside the ends were blown off the ball and the gains were massive and in many cases the ball carrier was not touched for 20 yards. The score was 35-6 @ half and the 48-12 final was closer than the game actually was. No excuses from this Bobcat fan, we simply need to execute consistently.

That's basically the story of the game.
Perry's backs turned the corner with a lot of green in front of them all night.

I wish Whitley would have scheduled Breathitt nicker:

Hate to see a proud program down this much. Hopefully things will turn for Breathitt next year.

As long as the state is in charge of the breathitt school system, we are in trouble. They've made it clear that sports are at the bottom of their list of priorities. No feeder program the last few years have killed us. A few people are trying to get the grade/middle school teams back going. But even if they can, it's going to be a several years before it shows up in the high school.

I guess we know now why Holcomb left. It appears the talent is dried up and the state is making life miserable for those still there.

Do not think it is as much lack of talent as it is just a lack of execution from the talent that is available.
