Weather permitting, the Engineers and Lady Engineers will make their way up to Beattyville for a big 56th district matchup. Boys will tip at 6 PM...Girls around 7:30 PM...

Estill County defeated Lee County 69-48 earlier in the year in Irvine.


Estill County (14-9) averaging 59 PPG....Lee County (5-22) averaging 66 PPG

Estill had about 2-3 inches of snow this morning and some of the roads were bad. Here are the remaining open dates for the boys that both Estill and Lee are open of next week; Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday.

Girls: Wednesday, Saturday. Lee County girls would be playing 4 games in a row if they played it next Wednesday.

Only other option I see is playing on a Sunday unless both teams wanna cancel other opponents to get them in.

I don't think it really matters to the boys depending on how the Estill/Powell game goes, if Estill wins then regardless they would have the 1 seed. If Powell wins by less than 7 Estill would still have the one seed...If Powell wins by 9+ then they would be in the driver seat and have the 1 seed.....The girls game however, has to be played no matter what because it will determine the 2, 3, 4 seeds

Estill and Lee will play tomorrow night in a boy/girl double header. same time, boys @ 6, girls @ 8. The Estill/Harrison game will be played next Thursday @ 5 (JV), varsity at 6:30 and girls varsity at 8.
