I'm looking forward to the 13 region tournament. Should be very fun to watch.

I believe the girls tournament will be better than the boys. Girls are playing better basketball than boys.

Clay was 7-7 before the Mathis girls quit. They are 6-3 since. They have beaten Madison Central, Woodford County, Lincoln County, Rockcastle County, Jackson County, and O.B.I. The three loses are to George Rogers Clark and Scott County in the Toyota Classic, and Bell County. Not saying that it had no effect, but it hasn't been the death kneel that some expected. I still say Clay will be a very hard out come tournament time.

What is the latest on the Mathis girls eligibility for this season? I heard they would find out next week. That would make a difference in post season play. Still not enough to be with the top tier teams but could then be a sleeper. I do think whitley is better than the others you have them grouped with. It pains me to say I will be surprised if my redhounds make a strong run. I can hope though!!!!
