How is conditioning illegal? They're not practicing.

Isn't there a new organized team meet rule? The players could do it on their own..but not with a coach. Not sure though.

I didn't think conditioning could start until 2/15.

Conditioning can start when ever or atleast that is the way it was the last two years. You just cant pick up a ball or do any kind of fundamental stuff atleast with a coach around. I played at Johnson Central and i 2004 my junior season when coach Hall arrived we started conditioning the second week of August. We had a week to get settled in and then we start lifting and running.
Unless the rules have changed it is not illegal.
I think it is great that the Baseball team is already conditioning they have some great players and a great coach i look forward to seeing the Tigers play this year. and wish them luck accept against the Eagles.
