DeSales 76 - Thomas Nelson 0
#1
I know TN was dreading this game. Coach Brohm who coached at DeSales until he took over the TN program, wanted to only play 8 min quarters. DeSales declined so our younger kids could get some time in. Anyway the clock started to run in the first quarter. We scored 42 in the first quarter. J.V played the second, and the Freshman team played the whole second half. Being as coach Brohm was one of our own, it was hard to watch. It's not even like we were trying to score. They fumbled the ball so much, our players were picking it up, and running it in. Their kids were timid, they didn't want the contact. This brings the question. When is enough, enough? They had no business on the field. They were dropping like flies. You could tell the officiating team was getting concerned.
Southern next week to finish the season out. I don't see much of a contest in that one either. The good out of this is that we are playing a lot of the younger kids, and allowing some of the banged up ones to get healthy for the playoffs.

Desales may have taken out some of their frustrations.
