From the eastern 2a part Tyler Layne from Prestonsburg is a rlly good lineman. His bench is over 300 and he has alot of experience...

I don't think it matters what your bench is, if you have some what of a first quick step, and give the back a little space to make something happen you are doing your job.

Im gonna throw a couple out there from Valley. Tyler Cable and John Johnson from Valley. Cable is small for a lineman. If im not mistaken hes about 5'6 or 5'7 and weighs in at around 230. But hes a little brute, boy can bench 310 and squat 500. I think not positive on this. I know that has nothing to do with being good but still pretty nice. Johnson played linebacker and fullback for Valley up until his senior season. he started center for Virgie middle school when i played while he was in 5th grade at g.f johnson. So he has some experince on the line. Was also a very good line backer. Both guys play on the strong side for Valley with John at the guard and Cable at the tackle. Id switch it around, but Im not the coach so what do I know.

I've seen an awful lot of undersized lineman with a great quick first step do nothing but get shoved back into the hole leaving no hole.
My point is against teams with strength up front, you'd better have a little strength to give back.

You all can have your bench press but ill take coaching and technique. I think that the best single lineman my be Kyle Carter of LC. Now for the best group of lineman i think Johnson Central along with Sheldon Clark are right there together. But in my mind the best Line Coach is Burchett of JC, the man knows his stuff and it has showed on the field since he arrived with Matney.

Tyler cable actually holds the record in squating at Valley...It is 520....but that dosen't matter, my opinion would be John Johnson, Tyler Cable, and Daniel Gillespie.
