She's lost three children in about three and a half years.

A Powell County mother is mourning the loss of her daughter Tuesday -- the third child she has lost in a car accident in the past few years.

Sandy Anderson's 19-year-old daughter Melissa died in a car accident on her way to work from Menifee County to Mt. Sterling. Her mother says she fell asleep while driving.

In late 2002, Sandy's daughter Leslie was hit and killed by a drunk driver and just two years later Sandy's son, George was killed in a car accident in Powell County. Sandy says she can hardly cope and doesn't know how she makes it from day to day.

Now Sandy is incredibly worried about her only surviving child. -- 24-year-old James.

She says she is terrified he will be involved in a car accident. Melissa's mother is in the process of making her daughter's funeral plans.

Melissa worked at Wal-Mart in Mt. Sterling. She was on her way there when she had the accident.
