For JC, Blanton started and threw 5 with Mays coming in to finish. Paintsville threw Kash and another lefty.
Sloan made a heck of a catch and a good relay toss to G. Blanton, who was able to get make a perfect toss to LeMaster at the plate for a double play off of a shot by Miller. Probably the play of the game. Speaking of Miller, this young man plays way above and beyond his age. Heck of a lead off guy and the way he carries himself on the field is all class. He will be a dandy for the next several years to watch.
Congratulations to both on a well played game.

The second kid was Spencer Taylor. Overall this was a great game and I hope these two meet again in districts.

Last three games....You might as well call us the Paintsville "Cans of Corn" !!!! A fly ball is the easiest play in baseball! Glad we are hitting this bump now though instead of during District Tourny! We'll be fine. I got faith in this bunch!

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

They must have pitched very well, Blanton with a one hitter and Kash gave up 3 hits. Heck of a game according to those that were there.
