Harlan County jumped on them early in the 1st with 5 runs, neither team started their aces but Cornett, Bond and the freshman lefty Burkhart did a great job on the mound. Hazard pitched a right hander to start and 2 lefties and finished with Johnson which is still recovering from his achilles.

Definitely an ugly game. Cornett did a great job holding them scoreless for three innings. We're starting out sluggish but I think we're starting to come around.
