Lillian say what you want but Coach McKinley isn't going anywhere. I was their tonight and nothing was said from any parent, I don't think some of the players like it because Estill's guard takes a lot of shots but those are the only ones. Nothing was said from the parents. So keep believing in your little fantasy world and I'll keep believing what I know is the truth!
I'm starting to think your a parent that's mad because your kid isn't getting any playing time, if your not a parent or not affiliated with Estill in anyway then why are you so hot to trot about Coach McKinley and Estill?

Well I was right their behind the bench the whole time and nothing came from a parent. I seen some players bickering, not sure what it was about so I assumed it was about the player taking a lot of shots.

Just to set the record straight, Mr. McKinley is not going anywhere, he is well liked, respected and the ball players like him as well. So believe what you want, I am sure lilliam is associated with one of the players, parent, grandparent, etc, and would love for Estill coach to be let go, but nothing is farther from the truth. Now addressing the young ladies shooting, as I am told the last several games the young lady in question, about too many shots, passed the ball off 60% of the time and the total team made between 10-17 points per game, so take the other 40% shooting and has an average of 23.7 points a game nothing else should be said....sorry lillian facts are facts.....I would take 24 points a game from any player shooting 40% of the shots over a whole team shooting 60% o the shots that is 5 to 7 players and out of those 5 to 7 players combined they average between 10-17 a game....sometimes they may hit 20 plus...

The big question to answer are the other players getting better on a team that features one player. If you are not winning, you are not, then you should look at the one player shots most of the time concept. Great players make the players around them better. If you say they have to shoot it all the time for the team to compete you would be wrong.

This is a very young team only two players have any varsity experience, 2 seniors one who never played varsity basketball until this year, no juniors, 4 sophomores, one who had extensive varsity play, the others little to none, the rest freshmen, middle schoolers..I believe they are getting better and will compete at a much higher level next year...Estill has two out with ACL injuries, one who played a lot of varsity last year not playing this year and hopefully will be back next year...so all in all they are getting better and I believe will be competitive next year...this has been a tough year on these girls and it is sad if Estill was 23-3 no one whould be talking about problems with the program...Estill County has little or no exposure even when they've had great teams..I think some of these arm chair critics might be surprised come district time...Estill's coaching staff our some of the best in preparation come district tournament time...Don't be surprise if you don't see these girls in the region tournament..

rebounder if Estill wins a game in the region then your great coach should be voted National coach of the year. You all think that there are no parents upset? YOU ARE NUTS. I will say this, if this continues over the summer and next year there are gonna be some major trouble coming down the road. A uprising so to speak.

If your not a parent, grandparent or a family member of a Estill County player and your not affiliated with Estill in any way shape or form then why are you so worried about Estill? Shouldn't you worry about your own school?

lillian no one said we would win a region game...but stranger things have happen...
