Final from Johnson Central.
Little Parsley played great for the Cards. He balled all over the Golden Eagles tonight.

The 57th district is just insane and hard to keep up with as each team keeps beating up on each other. What's the district standings look like now?

Shane Hall had 15pts

1. SC is in the #1 seed as long as they don't loose their last two District games.
2/3. Paintsville and JC are tied for the 2/3 spots. They play each other Thursday night at JC. The Loser will be the #3 seed and the winner no less than the #2 seed. The winner still has an outside shot at the #1 as long as SC looses out. Which ANYTHING CAN happen in this District.
4/5. LC & MC are in these spots.

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

Big win tonight for the cards

An Sheldon Clark needs to just win one of the two district games left

This 15th region is wide open, but boy oh boy are they in for a rude awakening when they walk on that Rupp Arena floor against Ballard or Trinity. Terrible draw for the 15th but just making it to Rupp for the mountain teams mean so much to those kids.

sc is #1 seed they have beaten jc twice even if they loose there last 2 districts games they would have identical records in district with jc. sc quitly keeps rolling along

^As of now.
They NEED to win at least one more. If they loose both. Then if I'm not mistaken it would come down to a coin flip. Just like it did between SC and Paintsville the year before last.

Here is the latest one I could find. According to this. Paintsville would have to win against JC and SC would have to loose out for there to be a coin flip. If anyone has a newer one please post.

I watched this game on TV and it could have been the sloppiest and poorest officiated game I've witnessed in a LONG time. I felt the refs let the game get out of hand at times by letting the physical play continue, but then tries to reestablish control by calling ticky-tack stuff. SC hit some big shots when JC would make a run, if you would call it that, and finished the game. JC appears to have taken a few steps back compared to last years team. However, if these are the top teams in the 57th, it will be wide open come district tournament time. Confratulations to the cards and best of luck to both teams moving forward.

Is Hall still injured? Johnson Central should walk through that region but it seems that isn't the case at this point.

that is correct. they only way sc would be in a coin flip is if they loose their last 2 and paintsville beats jc at jc. sc owns tie braker against jc bc they beat them twice in district.

Parsley took them to school last night!
Shane Hall wasn't a big factor in this game?
Sheldon Clark should be a lock for the #1 seed in the district!!
Things just got more interesting in the 15th Region!!!

To be perfectly honest. Who really wants the #1 seed this season? Gotta play the winner of LC & MC and the tourney is at MC. Who ever the #1 has to play. It sure isn't gonna be to easy to get to the next game. Really no different than the 2/3 game.

Maybe it's just me, but if I was a 4 or 5 seed looking ahead to the 1 I would much rather play Sheldon Clark than JC anyday of the week.
