Man Arrested After Computer Store Technicians Allegedly Find Child Porn On His Laptop

An eastern Kentucky man is facing child pornography charges after technicians at a Lexington computer store stumbled upon more than they expected on two laptops.

Computer technicians at Comp USA in Lexington Green called police after discovering hundreds of images they believed to be child pornography.

The two laptops allegedly belonged to 53-year-old Ronald James Herald of Powell County, who brought the computers in for service.

Herald ha been charged with five counts of possession of matter portraying the sexual performance of a minor. Police say the investigation is in its early stages, and more charges could follow.

It doesn't matter how old the kids were, I'd rather not know to be honest. And I would assume he just received them from the internet, more than likely.

I'm glad he basically was dumb enough to turn himself in, by taking a porn ridden computer into get fixed.

Well, he'll sue for them looking through his stuff.

About the kids, if he was 53, it shouldn't matter, unless he didn't even know how old they were. But, if a girl just sent him stuff, she might have looked older (I'm not defending this dude, just saying). If the girl looked over 18, then he's no worse than the millions of men who go in strip clubs to watch teenage girls, or the millions of men who buy Girls Gone Wild videos or other videos with teenage girls.

But, since he got caught by people just looking at his computer, you have to think it was sickening porn like little kids and everything.

I dont think they should've been going through this guys files on his laptop but its still sick !
