Trinity struggled in the first round of the LIT to beat Western 51-41 but the bigger news is that yesterday Trinity's leading scorer and rebounder Darryl Hicks went down with an ankle injury. He was in a walking boot for the game and Trinity's coach said he would likely be out "several weeks". As much at they have trouble scoring with Hicks they are in a heap of trouble without him as evidenced today. Additionally their sixth man Strothman didnt even make the trip as he has the flu. I dont see how they can beat PRP in the quarterfinals on Friday
