Best game during finals as a fan?
#1
I've pondered on this subject for the last few years and have always wondered which teams had the best matchups and really put on a better show for us the fans. For me it would have to go to the Belfry/Central matchup. We the fans got our moneys worth. Two very evenly matched teams, mostly defensively, Came down to OT and even it wasn't a disappointment, they still put on a show. But finally one giant had to fall. Simply awesome football game. Two years in a row these two powerhouse football teams left it all on the field..............FOR US!! So, hat tilted to both wonderful schools, fans, parents and players that bleed to give us what we wanted. Thank You!!!:1::1:Only #1 trophy, so I put out two because there were two very deserving teams in both games, this year and last year. To Louisville Central, my hat goes of to ya, you all the one and true king of 3A, and I as a fan of football wish you all many more great wins.:worthy: Hopefully Belfry can make it back to this grand stage and claim your crown as there's.

Did y'all even see the Caldwell County-NCC game? The teams left everything on the field, the crowd was in it the whole game, a huge crowd no less, and it ended with Caldwell driving from the 20 to the NCC 45 and falling short after a sack in the last 26 seconds! I have to agree that the Central-Belfry game was great, but our whole county emptied out everybody there was worn out by the time the clock hit 0:00.

For entertainment it was Caldwell vs. NCC. Love a game when the scoring goes back and forth.

From a shear football quality standpoint the Belfry vs. Central game was the best. If for no other reason it lived up to the hype and the skill level/execution was more sound than the NCC/CC game.

I think NCC/CC gets the nod as the game of the weekend worth watching again with Central/Belfry getting the nod for the hardest hitting.
