Congrats to clay, they wanted it more. Good Luck rest of the season. As for Rock i don't know what to say. Not motivated, they did not want to even be there, Im not even gonna start with the play calling. somethings gotta change.

^honestly ROCKSOLID, all I can say is that its a down year....since I graduated, ROCK football's past seasons have been a rollercoaster; this marks the 1st "distrctless" season in a longtime by numbers, probably since 1984 b/c of a 1-9 record which the only victory that season was Whitley Co. @ The ROCK winning 14-8 in 2OT, maybe 3wishes can help me on that if Whitley was a district opponent back then and if thats indeed true....it will be the 1st time in 28 years ROCK had a season w/o a district victory.

Well I never thought that I would see the day when Rock would hit rock bottom like this!! Just didn't see this game playing out the way it did.

Offense is run the ball and get the game over with.

Well...if you can't tell by my absence on here....it's been a tough year to swallow. Congrats to Clay County. All I can do is explain to my kid what he has or hasn't done to improve the situation. My position is not one to point fingers much at anybody.....but to just try to advise my own on how he can do better. I personally don't have an explanation or a solution to the problem. The easiest, most apparent solution for people outside the program that haven't seen this develop internally is to scream..."FIRE THE COACHES!!!"....but in my opinion, the situation is much more complicated than that. It's a turnout numbers vs. quality of players vs. coaching staff, past and present vs. players past playing time experience vs. a player apathy thing. I saw this coming when my youngest (now an upper classmen) was a 7th grader. I didn't think it would be this bad though. I surely don't have a solution and I so wish I did. I'm just hunkered down trying to get my own through the rest of this season and trying to keep his morale up so that he will keep battling.
