This is a story that's been told before. Raceland and Nicholas county coming in around week 6 or 7 with identical records. It seems more times than not, it came down to a matter of Raceland having a stronger schedule than Nicholas and has come out on top by a large margin. Since 2000, Nicholas County has only managed 2 wins against Raceland. Back to back in '00 and '01. Since the 2002 season Raceland has averaged 42 pts/game against the Yellow Jackets and only giving up 11 pts, and this includes 2 shutouts. But it seems like every year Nicholas has a solid running attack, but like the power up front to compete defensively. They have no common opponents, but with wins over Sciota Community(OH), Lawrence County, and the self inflicted loss to Ashland, I'd say the Rams win the strength of schedule. Nicholas averages around 39 points per game and Raceland 47. Raceland has only allowed more than 2 touchdowns once this season, against Ashland. Minus that game Raceland is outscoring opponents by an average of 53-11. I think Raceland's balance offensive attack, along with great defense and a sudden blast of special teams play (nearly 10 tds on kickoff and punt returns in the last 3 games) Raceland holds Nicholas in check and wins comfortably and break 50 pt mark for the 5th straight game, though I do believe Nicholas will have the ability to score.
Raceland 52
Nicholas 21
this all also relies on Raceland's ability to focus on the task at hand and not looking ahead to the HUGE match up with Fairview next week.

I won't give a score because every year we play down in Nickolas Co. It pours the rain. Talkin sideway rain. With a sloppy field and a slick ball you never know. But if the field is dry. I believe the Rams win easily.

Raceland by 150 if they want. Nicholas used to be the hardest hitting team raceland would play all year. It's not the case anymore.

Guarantee it pours the rain, always does when we go to Nich.. regardless, Rams by a lot. I dont see this team looking ahead to next week, they understand that tomorrows game vs Nich is the most important of the season up to this point because its the first district game. Rams will worry about that team from up the road next week, tmr night is all about taking care of busines against the Bluejackets.
