Linebacker Donald Styles recorded nine tackles to lead the Central defense, which allowed only 49 yards.

Central only managed 61 yards on 37 carries of their own rushing the ball. Stout run defense in this game.

Central's defense is just stone called dominating everyone they play this season. And it is pretty clear they excel in stuffing the run. Belfry/Breathitt looks to decide who will take them on in Bowling Green (Bourbon/Garrard/Russell all having something to say about that of course) and you have to think Breathitt's spread might be more successful that Belfry's power game.

Hopefully Haywood starts using the rest of the regular season to add some variety to Belfry's passing game.
