KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Preseason All-America pitcher James Adkins put together his best performance of the season Saturday to help the Tennessee baseball team post a 2-1 win over 27th-ranked Florida at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Adkins tossed a complete-game and struck out 11 to give the Volunteers their first Southeastern Conference series win of the season.
