Allen Central scores in bunches late to pull away with a tight game against the Pirates. Belfry was up 5-0 after 2 innings thanks to some excellent hitting and an AC error, but the Rebels never quit. They made it 5-4 in the 3rd inning (I think...maybe 4th). Music, Jacobs, Little, and Spurlock all hit the ball extremely well. AC added one more in the 5th and another in the 6th. Belfry scored 2 in the top of the 7th, but Kidd closed the deal with runners on 1st and 2nd. Alex Hammonds started for AC, then Turner, Music, and finally Kidd. I believe it was Chris West for Belfry. He did an excellent job until the 34d or 4th inning. I heard an AC player accidentally stepped on his pitching hand while he was running the bases...they may have effected him some. Exciting game. Good defense and offense by both teams. Congrats Allen Central!!

Either one of these teams can beat each other on any given night....Sounds like a great game....

Chapman was not there because of the funeral of his uncle. I wish him well!

Yes and he will not be there tomorrow either. That could've really hurt the Pirates. but still congrats to AC!
