After a season in which he struck out just once, Holy Cross senior-to-be Connor Callery, is starting to receive some serious college interest.
The Ohio University Bobcats became the first school to extend an offer to Callery on Wednesday.
Fittingly enough, Callery was also Ohio Head Coach Rob Smithâs first offer. Smith was hired on at Ohio midway through June, after a six year stint as the Associate Head Coach at Creighton University.
In his junior season, Callery hit .386 with 51 hits, 32 runs scored and 25 RBI.
