On the floor: Elder played six years on the Marion County varsity, averaged double figures in scoring the past four and helped the Lady Knights win the past three Fifth Region titles. She averaged 10.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.1 steals and shot 47 percent as a senior, when the Lady Knights made it all the way to the Sweet 16 final. She finished her career with 1,937 points, 692 rebounds, 505 assists and 419 steals.

Off the floor: Elder plans to major in sociology and minor in criminal justice in college, with aspirations of becoming a social worker.

Future: Elder has signed with the University of Dayton.

Quotable: “She just did a little bit of everything for us,” Marion County coach Trent Milby said. “She started four years for us, she’s really smart and she competes. She was nice to have on the floor. and she took a lot of pressure off the other two (juniors Makayla Epps and Kyvin Goodin-Rogers).”
