We would be in high cotton and could talk a lot more shit during football season.

He would have Turned Uk into a good program, and it would be the opposite situation.

I don't think UK would be the basketball powerhouse that it is - but it would still be a good basketball program. Bryant left Kentucky in 1953 when the basketball program already had three national titles, not to mention a final four in 1942 as well as an NIT title in 1946 when the NIT meant a LOT more than it does now. Our football program would have a few more titles, and probably would be an elite program. Football would be the first priority - but basketball, I say we would be a solid program.

It's also interesting to think about the impact this would have on the SEC in basketball..Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy even said, "As Kentucky goes, so does the SEC." And in football...you have to wonder what would happen with Alabama should Bear Bryant be at UK. If they were to be an elite program even with Bear Bryant coming to Kentucky, the SEC would just be ridiculously good in football...which, they already are even with Kentucky not a football powerhouse.

I honestly dont think Bryant would have been the coach he was without Alabama, but likewise, Alabama would not be who they are without Bryant.
