Dude they were terrible for both sides! They were about 5 fouls that should have been called on Tony that wasn't.

Puhleese!!! First of all the Belfry player that got the head injury was called for a foul. That happens when a small player tries to take on someone twice his size. And yes, the Phelps player was called for a foul late in the game. He didn't deserve to be thrown out. He was called for a foul and Coach Varney took him out. The fact is Phelps played harder and wanted it more. As for the fouls, what was the count the first half? And in case you haven't noticed, teams that press and trap tend to foul more. Hurts to get taken to the cleaners by little ol' Phelps, doesn't it? :hilarious:

Like I said Belfry was called for twice the fouls.No 44 was not called for a foul when he deliberatly ran over and shoved the Belfry player.Tony got fouled time and time again but was not called 15 was over the back the entire game.I did not blame the refs for the loss Belfry played very bad.Phelps came to play thats a fact.What I said and its also a fact that these refs all season have been anybody but Belfry refs.:redboxer:

I'm not going to comment on Belfry, at all. Whether we got screwed, played bad, got fouled regardless doesn't matter. Phelps scored more points, Phelps gets the trophy. So, with that said...

Congrats to this bunch from Phelps. They have a good team. They have three big dudes and a few sharpshooting guards along w/ a solid point guard that really impresses me. They put it together at the right time and took advantage of the home-court advantage, and took district. A few of these guys are scrappers, who aren't extremely talented but they play SO hard to make up for it and it pays off big time. Congrats to a good, talented Phelps crew and if Belfry can't win region I'd love to see it be the Hornets!

Congrats Hornets Sunk That Pirate Ship!!!! and as far as the refs go i was at that game and they made horrible calls both ways so there for they are not the blame for belfrys loss. Phelps boys came to play and just simply wanted it more!

I also was at the game...and There WERE BAD CALLS BOTH SIDES. although, The game was actually a hard fought game between two teams. Very entertaining. I like both schools and their atmospheres, phelps just wanted it more.
