The bottom line: The Cardinals once again hit the state of Florida hard and came away with eight recruits â and still are trying for more. The staff filled needs on the offensive line with four 300-pounders and added depth at defensive back.
Late movement: Dequan Ivery committed to Louisville but visited Miami last weekend. Cleveland, Ohio, Glenville cornerback Sean Draper visited Louisville and Pittsburgh and is still looking at Illinois and Kansas. Central running back Anthony Wales has committed to the Cards, but his status is uncertain because of a shoulder injury.
Donât be surprised if: The name Lamar Atkins is mentioned in the coming days. Heâs the brother of Keith Brown, who already has enrolled. Both committed to Illinois before Brown switched to the Cardinals. Atkins, a 6-foot, 205-pound linebacker, isnât on Illinoisâ commitment list.
Sleeper recruit: Because he sat out his senior season with a knee injury, some have forgotten the huge potential of quarterback Will Gardner. He threw for 1,400 yards and 14 TDs as a junior and picked U of L over Alabama and Mississippi State.

UL has out recruited UK by a mile. I think UK is dead last in SEC recruiting and we actually did better this year than last.
