No. 2 Bullitt East (14-2) vs. No. 3 Ballard (12-5): Perhaps the most anticipated game will come last as the Bruins try to avenge a 73-66 loss to the Chargers on Dec. 21 in the third-place game of the King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic.

Both teams have lost starters since then. Bullitt East junior Elliott Young probably will miss the rest of the season after suffering a stress fracture in his back. Ballard coach Chris Renner said junior Cam Lewis quit the team earlier this month.

“It’s an opportunity for us to get better,” Bullitt East coach Troy Barr said of this matchup. “You hate playing somebody again so soon in the season. They’re going to make adjustments, and we’re going to have to guess at what adjustments they’ll make.”
