Congrats to Russell on the win, but the show stealers tonight were the Lady Rams. Another minute of play and Raceland would have won.

Good as normal...Paige Porter made the All Tournament Team along with teammates Whitney Seals and Natasha Massie

Katelynd Porter played excellent defense against a great 3 pointer: GC's Tavis. She held Tavis to 2 pts. When she wasn't named to the all tourney team, some fans told her she was cheated out of it. Had she not played such great defense, odds are that Raceland wouldn't even had been in the championship game. Katelynd scored 8 pts in the second game, sinking 4 straight free throws, that closed in the score during the final minutes. Whitney Seals played great and was the game high scorer. Tasha had her best game ever against GC and Paige Porter hit her 3's and ran a great offense. If the Rams had played the first quarter like they played the last, and had they hit their freethrows, (11/23) it would have been a different story.

Good Luck to all 16th and 15th region teams next week!

That free throw shooting sounds like UK. It can mean the difference so often. At least they had a good tourney.

the fouls were a bit lopsided in the first half to say the least. but free throws can change the outcome of games and in this case, it happened. At least they advance to regions next week.

I thought it was a first round lose until I read your post tonight and then realized that they advanced. Hopefully they'll get a good matchup and advance.
