Tony Messer Honorable Mention WR? He played TE ... all year. Not one of our LBers get as much as a honorable mention, when Mullins had 150 tackles, Ghormley had 120, and Runyon and Messer had 110 or so... but congrats to Trey Willis!

Sounds to me like CJ don't reserach their players 0304. Howie Dotson from my understanding was the WR at Belfry this year!

Belfry, I dont know much about your team, but did they get selected on the AP poll?

We had Keegan Fields go first team All State AP, and Josh Dixon second team. Trey Willis gets third team CJ. I just think they worked so well as a unit you probably couldn't have voted for one of them cause they were all so good. There is probably 15-20 better linebackers than each of them in the state, but I truly think all four of them is one of the best combos I've ever seen.

And only one of them graduates

How Tyler Black of Mason Co. gets HM at DL and Cody Lawhun of Lewis Co. doesn't, I'll never know. I'm willing to say Lawhun had better stats than 90% of the DL listed on all of the CJ All-State teams.

Problem with this poll is coaches get together in areas and vote for their kids only. If a lot of coaches can persuade the other coaches in the area then there kid makes and some who should, do not.

the Anderson kicker was definitely one of the best kickers in the state, deserves higher than honorable mention, also showed major clutch gene throughout the season
