First question, since you mentioned schools, how serious are you about the profession? Are you wanting to do a shows full-time around the state? In spare time around the state? Trying to break into the WWE/TNA/NJPW/etc...?

If you are wanting to make it big, save up a little money and hit the gym hard (I do not know you, you may be a workout warrior for all I know, but you need to be in elite shape).

If you are wanting to break into the big boys game, head to Dory Funk Jr.'s school, FCW or OVW.

If you are looking for a cheap training to get your feet off the ground and do a few local shows, head to the Old McKinney Gym in Lincoln County, KY.

I have been there and done all of that stuff, I promise. Others on this site can back me up on it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TRAINING IN LOCAL FEDS! Head to OVW, FCW, or Dory Funk Jr.'s school. Before you do though, make sure you are in good shape. Those guys really care about 1st impressions and they do work harder with people that have natural tools. Do not make the mistake of many, which is trying to get in shape while training, you would do yourself an injustice.

If you are just looking for shows to watch or just wanting something local:

LWC, did you used to wrestle?

^Long story but yes. I never made the big-leagues. I learned quickly what they were looking for and I gave up. I have no regrets because I am doing what the Lord wants me to do.

Going through, getting licensed, and doing the Indy scene a little makes you really appreciate what the pros do.

^Maybe on how the system works, but you, Daneer, Westy, JRod and others have the history and current market down.

Wow! That's still impressive.

how about any closer to eastern ky. Does Jimmy V. still do the school in swva??? or any info on BCW out of eastern ky.

That link gives every licensed show in Kentucky. Any other school/company is either unlicensed or they are a school that does no live shows. If they do not do any live shows, you will never learn how to work a crowd, or angles, etc... In that case, I would not go.

Handsome Jimmy used to run a school, but I am not sure if it is still operational. It might be.
