why are they not having it this year?

They changed it to the Legacy Nissan Shootout and it's at North Laurel.

South Laurel is playing in the Mercer County Tournament.


Powell County, Lee County, Barbourville and North Laurel are the only one's in it to my knowledge

May be because Steve Wright came to Southwestern. That could be the reason. I'm not for sure though.

There's some bad blood brewing between North and South Laurel. That's probably part of the reason for South not being involved in the Hoop it up Classic.
