Best Teams in the State

I know it's very early on, but which schools are looking the best so far?

Just from early watch, I would guess Trinity is one to watch for.

Watched Trinity tonight against Rowan Co.
and they looked sometimes like a college team...

Ballard looked very impressive when I saw them. Whoever comes out of the 7th will be in good shape to win it all.

Trinity defiantly, Scott Co. as always, I'd throw in Lou. Central, Ballard as stated above, any Lexington teams look good early?

Perry Central is the best team in EKY IMO.

Perry Central, Knott Central, and Pulaski Co are the top 3 teams in EKY.JMO

I don't know who all they lost off last year's team, but they fared pretty well in a bigger stage than the 7th region (well, when it comes to the loaded 7th I guess I'd better say just as big of a stage) when they finished runner up in the state tournament. Many think they should have won it---was the shot a 3 or a 2???

Go to KHSAA and click on a 7th region team; scroll to the bottom and list the top 6 teams. Repeat for the 6th region.

I would put them behind Trinity, Ballard for sure, but I'm not sure I would put them behind anyone else. I am curious to see how they fair against St. X, Bullitt East later in the year. I am not saying Rowan is the 5th best team in the state as some pre-season polls had them, but they are in the top 10-12. The defense is there for this team (held Trinity to 58 pts) and their offense is lagging, and traditionally lags until January. Curious to see how they fair in the King of the Bluegrass
