Coach: Tommy Sorrell (28-51 in three seasons).
Last season: 8-20 (lost to Newport Central Catholic in district semifinal)
Key players: Sr. F Kaylynn Dill, Jr. F Maddy Martin, Jr. F Jennifer Sexton
Outlook: Bellevue will be young and inexperienced as Dill is the lone returning starter. Dill, who has played on the varsity football team, is a strong player with improving ball skills. Coach Sorrell is counting on her post presence and leadership the most as he attempts to get a big scoring season out of the senior. "For us, it's a rebuilding year. All of our starters last year were starters for three years," the coach said. "Dill has been playing varsity since she was a freshman. She's taking the leadership role pretty well." Lauren Thomas is a promising sophomore.
