Player to watch: Dynessia Johnson, a 5-6 senior guard/forward, averaged 4.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.0 steals last season.

Outlook: DeJesus, a former assistant who replaced Kendria Rice-Locket, is pleased with the progress of Johnson and Zapata and is excited about the addition of six freshmen. He said Simpson “has the potential to be the best freshman St. Francis has ever had.”
