St. Henry
Coach: Brian Coburn (4th season, 59-29).
Last Season: 20-9 (Won 34th District championship; lost in semifinals of Ninth Region Tournament to Boone County, 42-33).
Key Players: Sr. G Annie Fugate; Sr. F Jessica Knaley; Sr. G Jill Bauer.
What's New: It's the start of an era without three-year starters Taylor Gamm and Abby Janszen, who graduated after leading the Crusaders to three straight regional semifinal finishes.
Outlook: St. Henry not only has to find a replacement for Gamm at point guard and the lanky and multi-talented Janszen, but also for outside shooter Shannon O'Daniel, who graduated. Fugate, Knaley and Bauer have all been key players the last few years, but now they must become more of a focal point of the offense. This is a program used to winning and in a district that's fairly wide open a fourth straight district title isn't out of the question.
