South Oldham High School senior midfielder Marissa Williams has been named Miss Soccer by the Kentucky High School Girls’ Soccer Coaches Association.

Williams had 15 goals and 14 assists for the Lady Dragons, who finished 13-8-1 after falling to Christian Academy in the semifinals of the Eighth Region Tournament.

She has signed with Mississippi State.

Williams was one of seven players from the Louisville area named to the All-State West team, representing regions 1-8. The others were Male’s Kate Barker, Oldham County’s Shelby Cohen, Sacred Heart’s Sara Herbert and Mary Kate Schmidt, Assumption’s Morgan Riggs and North Oldham’s Erin Ottman.
