Coach: Joel Morris (first year).
Last season: 16-14, lost to Ballard 68-35 in Seventh Region quarterfinal.
Player to watch: Andrew Steggeman, a 5-11 junior guard, is back at Collegiate after averaging 12 points and 3 rebounds last season at Salem (Ind.). He averaged 8 points as a freshman at Collegiate.
Other top players: F David Keyer (6-3, Jr., 9 ppg, 7 rpg); F Collin Schutte (6-1, Sr., 4 ppg, 4 rpg); F Ryan Perry (6-2, Sr., 1 ppg, 1 rpg); F Will Matson (6-3, Sr., 1 ppg, 1 rpg).
Outlook: The Titans reached the regional for the first time last season by stunning St. Xavier 45-43 in the 25th District semifinals. They lost nine seniors from that team and have a new coach in Morris, who coached the girls last season and replaces Tim Williams as the boysâ coach. Steggeman, Keyer and Schutte should give the Titans a solid trio to build around.
