Atherton 31, Iroquois 30: The visiting Rebels (1-9) stopped Malik Saunders at the 1-yard line on a two-point conversion run in the third overtime to record their first win in nearly two years.
The score was tied at 24 after regulation and stayed that way until Athertonâs Elijah Eisert scored on a 10-yard run in the third OT. The Raiders (0-9) answered with Saundersâ 5-yard TD run. It was Athertonâs first win since Oct. 30, 2009, a 12-8 victory over Iroquois.
