The Eagles would not be at home if they play the Jumpers in the Regional Finals. Since it is 2011, an odd numbered year, they odd numbered district gets to host the game if the teams are of an equal seed. Somerset is in District 7, Leslie is in District 8. Leslie can only host the Regional Final if someone other than Somerset makes it out of that side of the bracket.

Do not let P-burg fool ya they are better than there record shows. Must have some senior leadership. They were much better in the beginning season but i look for a big change this week against Pike Central as Derosset will light a fire under them.

I think that Somerset will win the Region but I could see Leslie County, SV, Lexington Christian or Middlesboro playing them for the title It wouldnt suprise me.

ill go with lex. christian but i hope Leslie County wins it. they deserve it i think. even though im not a fan its alway nice to see a program that has struggled for so long here recently without success win something such as a region trophy. good luck eagles

Prestonsburg definitely has some offensive firepower. I think they will have a hard time stopping Danville's offense though. I'm glad Somerset was able to win the district and get home field for the first 3 rounds. It would be a long drive for Prestonsburg or Leslie to come to Somerset and the Briar Jumpers have only lost once at home the last 3 seasons. Playing at home is a huge advantage in this region with the overall balance of the teams.

I have no idea about the Danville - P'burg game but the winner will be a tough match up for the Jumpers.

I see LCA and Leslie Co playing in the second round, I'll give a slight edge to home standing Leslie.

I think Somerset should win this region, but this has been a screwy year so anything goes.

Getting back to the form they were in the first part of the season. WTF!! Their schedule is a cake walk other than their losses. The teams they beat, any decent team could beat. They will lose this week to PCC and then out in the first round to Danville. Now that the realignment has taken place and they are no longer in the easiest region in Ky. State football (all classes) the hard to beat coach in the playoffs will be 1 and done. And what would ever make you think this is a run team when they pass 75% of the time. :ChairHit:
