This was an amazing game! Not much defense in this one but amazing nonetheless.
After holding a 14-point lead in the 4th qtr, JCMS rallied from a 6-point deficit late to tie the game at 50. JCMS defense finally arrived at the party and forced a turnover on downs at mid field with less than a minute to go. The winning score came on a 50-yard pass from Geordan Blanton to Mason Blair with 18 seconds remaining. The 2-point conversion was good.
JCMS forced a turnover on the Patriots last play to seal the win.
#21 for Knott County was amazing...ran wild and was very hard to tackle.
Alex Spencer finished with 6 TDs and over 200 yards rushing for JCMS.
This was for the JC 7th grade team over a tough Knott County 8th grade squad. It will be interesting to see how the conference playoff pairings shake out.

On a side note...the Knott County fans were the most hospitable fans we have encountered all season. It was a very enjoyable atmosphere.
