Fayette County I-High Bowl Games
#1
Seems like to me it will be a lot of good football played at Lafayette High School on Friday night and Saturday. How do you think the games will turn out?

Heres the schedule:

Friday 8/26- 6:00- Bell County @ Lafayette
9:00- Bowling Green vs. Henry Clay

Saturday 8/27- 3:00- Harlan Co vs. Dunbar
6:00- Louisville Eastern vs Bryan Station
9:00- Ryle vs. Tatets Creek

Lafayette with home field advantage by 7.

Henry Clay over the traveling team BG by 14.

Black Bears of Harlan County over Dunbar by 21.

Bryan Station over Louisville by 3.

Ryle over anyone they play by as much as they want.

I'm willing to bet you're off by about 42-49 points on that one when all is said and done.

Just a heads up for those coming. Traffic near the school will likely be a challenge on Saturday. The Republic Bank Bluegrass Bowl with 4 MS games starting at 9 oclock and 2 high school games starting at 5:30 p.m. is at Lexington Catholic and that is only about a mile or 2 from Lafayette. Clays Mill Road is under construction to the south near Man-O-War and the new interchange at Harrodsburg Road and New Circle is still being worked on. Neither host schools have good parking for big events so you will most likely have to walk some. So plan extra time to park and walk.
