I was at the game last night and I have to say that even though Riverview had the better of E.R. I thought they showed improvement from the week before. E.R. looked much better on offense, they had several nice drives, the O.L. did a pretty good job blocking and the backs run hard. E.R. shot themselves in the foot with turnovers, they had 7 fumbles in the game, 5 of them from bad snaps. They lost 2 of them. The passing game needs work, but this will be primarily a running team. E.R. defense is still needing work. I thought in some ways they were better, but they still struggled with the pass and perimeter running. Riverview had some impressive looking players, extremely fast skill players, and very nice size upfront. Riverview executed their offense very well, they threw well and ran the buck sweep very nicely. I think the Pike Co. bowl will be very exciting, E.R. and S.V. are very similar teams, both young and run oriented. This will be a very close match-up.
