East Ridge has 55 kids out for football, they are young, but with better talent than they have had. I expect them to start several younger players and will probably have an uphill battle with the established teams on the schedule, but I see the chances for a few wins and a good base to build on for the future.
#34
if they play good they should go 4 and 0 in the first 4 games
#35
I can see 5-5 or 4-6
#36
IMO
wins- shelby valley, phelps, hurley, haysi, pike central, grundy, tug valley
loses- belfry, sheldon clark, lawrence co.
#37
I have a real problem believing this.

First, this isn't their last year... the new school hasn't even broken ground yet,

Second, I don't see Haysi dropping a county-rival that's a sure win. Ervinton had a hard time filling their sched. and these staffs wiil be working together in 2-3 years.

That is a great turnout! East Ridge has had a few rough years, but it looks as if things are looking up.

Good luck going forward.

Ya know, if someone had already contacted Ervinton about a game, they'd prob. be OK with dropping Haysi for a weaker opponent.

Yea I dont blame them. I would trade Haysi for a weaker apponent. This could be good for all involved.

:please: They don't stand a chance of beating Pike Central :thatsfunn
#48
Yeah, I mean no disrespect to East Ridge you guys will have a fine season.

But Pike Central beat East Ridge last year 60-13 in what was to date East Ridge's best season.

And to be honest, Pike Central didn't lose very much from last season, I expect the same outcome.
#49
you guys are right we dont have a chance.
#50
ur forgeting Haysi
#51
I'm still not sure Haysi is on your schedule... they say they're playing county rivlal Ervinton this Friday.
#52
:insane:Haysi was on the schedule they canceled and said they were not playing out of state teams this year. Which gives ER a off weak that should give time for the new O to find its self. After a very disappointing start the changes made to the O and the personal should let the team be much more competitive and hopeful they will gain some toughness and will to win. The talent is there the willingness to play together and be a team instead of a individual is not. We all hope this will change and a young team will come together.
