WLEX-TV website reporting torn ACL will sideline Woodford Countyâs Jay Johnson. Hereâs the link:

This is a real tragedy, he is an outstanding player, certainly one of the best in the state. This not only impacts his â11-â12 school season, but takes him out of all the NCAA-certified travel team tournaments scheduled for this July in front of the college coaches. He would have been one hot commodity. He led the KYA All-Stars, winners of the KY 17u AAU Championship. His presence, along with several excellent teammates, gave Woodford County their best chance for a long time to challenge for the 11th region crown. Hope he heals quickly and is back in time they can still make a run, and he can still get a scholly.
