This was the first game of the double-header. Chandler Shepthre threw a complete game shut-out for his ninth win of the year. He is 9-0 now with an 0.71 era. Tate Banks and Julius Musick both connected on home-runs. Bank's was a 3 run homerun in the first inning. Lawrence County dominated in this one and got their 20th win on the year to improve to 20-4.


The second game got cancelled with Lawrence County up 3-2 in the 3rd inning after Shepherd's 7th homerun of the year, a three run shot in the second inning. cline started on the mound for the hosting Bulldogs but got pulled in the first inning and Julius Musick pitched in relief.

Shepherd looked superb today. LC bats looked much better too. I heard Cline's arm was hurt and he was going to hospital? Any word on that?
