I know Logan Barker.. he switched to rowan county from paintsville.. hes pretty good.. a good catcher.. hes a juniour.. but idk anyone else in the 16th.. :Hammer3:

lets talk about ashlands freshmen: chris duvall, alex bonnette, trey keaton, josh miller, cory mccallister, chandler johnson, zach adkins, travis lewis, chase adkins, and the sophomores, steve carver, ron cyrus. gentlemen these are the young men that took ashland babe ruth 14's all-stars to state and came in third. lets hope these young men come out and play for wilcox this year. there is a lot talent in these young men.

I seriously doubt if any of Ashlands freshman or sophmores mentioned will be on the varsity team. The only ones I think will make it are Nick Jackson, maybe Corey Sparks because we are in need of a 1B, maybe Caleb Rigsby for some depth in pitching and in the infield, and maybe Duvall because Davis needs a back up.

you talk about nick jackson, its his first year at the big A he is gonna have to prove himself. you can not do it by the name' there is plenty of other talent out there that you cant over see. these other freshmen are hungry to get a job. they are hungry because they dont wont a outsider coming in to justify the position because of name sake and come from BOYD CO. THESE YOUNG MEN HVE TO EARN IT TO KEEP IT.

Jackson is a big, strong kid. He'll do well at Ashland not because of his name or where he's from. Has to be one of the top freshman in the 16th region. Hits well and throws hard.

:Cheerlead IMO...I think South Floyd has some pretty good freshman playing this year...We have Tyler Mitchell who is a good player if he can just stay out of trouble and keep his head in the game...Adam Slone...Colby Hayes...Ethan Gayheart...Cody Cook...Johnathan Cochran..and some more!!
