I'm looking for information about starting a boys' middle school basketball conference for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade. What is the best way to develop a conference? Do teams have to pay a membership fee or promise to play home and away with each conference team? What kind of rules do you have? Also, do you have monthly or annual meeting?

Thanks for any information, I would like for our kids to have the opportunity to play for a conference chamionship.
