WHO'S THE BIGGEST SURPRISE FROM LAST SEASON?
I WOULD HAVE TO GO WITH MAD.SOUTHERN. WENT 4-6 LAST YEAR, THIS PAST SEASON FINISHED 8-2 LOSING TO BELL AND ROCK.(HAD BELL BEAT, LOST 21-17).THEN HAD A GREAT WIN 1ST ROUND IN THE PLAYOFFS AGAINST A TOUGH JOHNSON CENTRAL TEAM.:Clap:

Biggest suprise to me was Prestonsburg, they had a very dissapointing year by thier standards.

I Would have to agree i went and watch the pikevill and pburg game and i was very disapointed i was hoping to see a good game but pikville stomp them in the first period so needless to say i left by the 3rd........

I think Prestonsburg had a team that could compete, just never showed it until towards the end of the season. IMO they beat M'boro with *****s.

Easily--Lexington Christian.

They did have a lot of seniors (and they should have been really good). But I don't think that there were a lot of people who would have said that they could have made it to the 3rd round of the playoffs.

I also think that Russell turned out to be a surprise. Simply because most people think that they were better last year. . . .

I know Paintsville returned everyone from the season before, BUT they also got a new coach. They went to a completely different offense, defense and coaching style. In my experience making those big changes from one season to the next is pretty tough. BMR carried Paintsville to it's first district championship in MANY years and took them all the way to the region championship.

I agree! This team was special and made a great turn around.
