Great to see Coach Lee Evans (former player for Ashland and assistant coach for 13 seasons) get a win in his first game as a head coach (even if it is against a subpar team) after being passed over so many times for a head coaching position. I think he will really turn around the program out at "Da County." Congrats Coach Evans. I sure wish we still had you in Tomcat Maroon instead of Lion Red.

Coach Baldrige is 1-0 and beats the cougars at Morgan tonight.
Kyler Wright for Rowan was by far the best athelete on the field.
I had heard all the hype on Morgan's fb Young and he was a hard nosed tough runner but Rowan had the better atheletes. Morgan's option attack looked horrible when it went any where besides the fb. Morgan is by far too one demensional and when it was 3rd and long it went up the gut on their first read to the fb. The spread option caught people by surprise for a couple of years, It wont anymore, All you have to do is shut down the cougars fullback every play.:devilflam
